1. Our Commitment

ConnectLove is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections in a safe, respectful environment. These Community Standards outline expected behavior and prohibited conduct for all users. By using our platform, you agree to uphold these standards.

2. Prohibited Content & Behavior

2.1 Sexually Explicit Content

The following are strictly prohibited on ConnectLove:

• Nudity or partial nudity in photos, videos, or during video calls
• Sexually explicit messages, images, or unsolicited sexual content
• Solicitation of sexual services or content
• Pornographic or adult content of any kind

2.2 Harassment & Abuse

• Bullying, threatening, or intimidating behavior
• Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
• Stalking or unwanted contact after being blocked
• Doxxing or sharing private information without consent

2.3 Fraud & Deception

• Creating fake profiles or impersonating others
• Using someone else's photos without permission
• Financial scams or requests for money
• Catfishing or misrepresenting your identity

2.4 Illegal Activity

• Sharing content depicting minors in any context
• Drug sales or promotion of illegal substances
• Violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
• Copyright or trademark infringement

3. Video Chat Standards

Video calls are a privilege on ConnectLove. All video chat participants must:

• Remain fully clothed throughout the entire call
• Refrain from sexually suggestive behavior, gestures, or language
• Respect boundaries and end the call if asked
• Report violations immediately using in-call reporting tools

4. Enforcement & Consequences

4.1 Violation Ladder (Video Chat)

Video chat violations are enforced progressively:

• 1st High-Severity Event: 24-hour video chat suspension + warning
• 2nd High-Severity Event: 7-day video chat suspension
• 3rd High-Severity Event: Permanent video chat ban
• Extreme Violations: Immediate permanent ban from entire platform (e.g., illegal content, minors, extreme violence)

4.2 General Content Violations

For profile content, messages, and photos:

• Minor Violations: Content removal + warning
• Moderate Violations: 24-hour to 7-day account suspension
• Severe Violations: Permanent account termination

4.3 Appeals Process

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@connectlove.uk within 14 days. Include your account details and explanation. Appeals are reviewed within 5-7 business days.

5. Reporting Violations

Help us maintain a safe community by reporting violations:

• During Video Calls: Use the "Report" button visible during the call
• User Profiles: Click "Report" on any profile page
• Messages: Use the report option in the chat interface
• Emergency: Contact local authorities first, then report to us

All reports are reviewed confidentially. False reports may result in account suspension.

6. Privacy & Moderation

To protect our community, ConnectLove employs:

• AI Content Moderation: All uploaded photos are analyzed for prohibited content
• Video Call Monitoring: Privacy-preserving moderation signals (perceptual hashes and risk scores) are processed during video calls. We do not store raw video or images.
• Human Review: Reported content is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team
• Automated Enforcement: Severe violations trigger automatic actions

7. User Responsibilities

As a ConnectLove user, you are responsible for:

• Reading and complying with these Community Standards
• Treating all users with respect and dignity
• Protecting your account credentials
• Reporting violations when you encounter them
• Being truthful in your profile and communications
• Respecting intellectual property rights

8. Updates to Standards

We may update these Community Standards periodically. Material changes will be notified via email and in-app notification. Continued use of ConnectLove after changes constitutes acceptance of updated standards.
